Anaphylactoid Purpura is a kind of immune disease. It refers to general blood
capillary inflammation because that people are anaphylactoid to certain
medicines, bacteria, foods including protein variant, insect bite and so on.
The characteristic features of Purpura Nephritis are bellyache, joint pain,
purpura, abnormal urine examination. This disease often occurs among children
but can does among any age group. In first one-three weeks, more than half of
patients suffer from infection of the upper respiratory tract like cold, cough,
and so on. Almost all patients have spotted purpura in buttocks and legs
usually; about two thirds patients have severe bellyache and black shit caused
by intestinal hemorrhage; one third patients bear serious arthralgia especially
in knee and ankles, with spotted edema possible. About 20%-60% patients have
glomerular lesion. Glomerular lesion often appears in 8 weeks of the beginning
of Purpura. At that moment, the symptom is just hematuria, accompanied with
proteinuia. Those patients with severe disease may show acute nephritic
syndrome, acute nephritic syndrome, and part of patients bear chronic glomerular
nephritic syndrome. Mostly all patients have hematuria. If there is gross
hematuria, it shows sevious disesease. Half patients have high IGA in serum in
acute period.
For patients with Anaphylactoid Purpura Nephritis, the first thing they
should do is to see doctors timely and supply with possible allergens for
instance which medicines they take before attack, whether they had cough, which
places they went, and so on. During the treatment, patients should guard against
and control infection.
What Systems Do Patients With Purpura Nephritis Have
Henoch-Schönlein Purpura: Why are My Feet Swelling
Blood in Urine and Henoch-Schönlein Purpura
Cause of Edema in Henoch Schonlein Purpura Nephritis Stage IV
Henoch-Schonlein Purpura (HSP) and Frequent Urination
Henoch Schonlein Purpura And High Blood Pressure
Besides the above, prognosis of Anaphylactoid Purpura Nephritis should be
according to specific disease condition:
1. Patients only Gross Hematuria. These patients are easy to recover
well.
2. Patients with obvious protein and red cells in urine. 10%-20% patients
suffer from renal failure.
3. Patients with nephrotic syndrome have bad prognosis. More than half
patients have hypertension or Azotemia after 10 years.
4. Patients with acute nephritic syndrome may die from Uremia.
In general, adult patients have worse prognosis than child patients. Renal
biopsy is significant to the forecast of progonosis. If you have any other
