Many people with Kidney Failure choose to do kidney transplant to treat the
kidney disease, but can kidney transplant solve all the kidney problems?
Certainly the answer is negative. If there are other treatments which can treat
kidney disease instead of transplantation, perhaps they give the patients with
Kidney Failure a new way to face with the disease.
After doing the kidney transplant, there will be some serious problems.
1. The success rate of kidney transplant is not 100%, and some transplant
surgery would be fail which is called transplant rejection including hyperacute,
acute and chronic transplant rejection. Then the patients have no method besides
another transplantation. Waiting for another transplant, some patients may
become more serious and many patients died before they could do transplant.
2. A patient's age and health condition before transplantation affect the
risk of complications. If patients had complications after transplant, that
would cause serious disease.
3. The average lifetime for a donated kidney is ten to fifteen years. When a
transplant fails, a patient may opt for a second transplant, and may have to
return to dialysis for some intermediary time.
4. Infections and sepsis would happen due to the immunosuppressant drugs that
are required to decrease risk of rejection. Other side effects of medications
include gastrointestinal inflammation, ulceration of the stomach and esophagus,
hirsutism, hair loss, obesity, acne, diabetes mellitus type 2,
hypercholesterolemia, and imbalances in electrolytes including calcium and
phosphate which can lead to bone problems amongst other things.
With so many problems, we should seek for other methods to treat kidney
diseases. Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy and Immunotherapy can repair the
damaged kidneys and rebuild the kidney structures instead of kidney
transplant.
