The four stages of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

Chronic Kidney Disease(CKD) can be divided into four stages according to the degree of kidney damage.
1. The 1st stage is the compensation stage with kidney insufficiency. In this stage, the serum creatinine is 133-177mmol/L and patients may have no symptoms.
2. The second stage is azotemia stage, also called kidney insufficiency stage or discompensation stage with kidney insufficiency, in which the serum creatinine is 186-442mmol/L.
3.The third stage is renal failure stage in which the serum creatinine is 451-707mmol/l.
4.The fourth stage is uremia stage in which the serum creatinine(High Creatinine Levels) is over 707mmol/L.
Clinical treatment is significant for Chronic Kidney Disease patients. The treatment for Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 3 is generally divided into 3 main stages.
a). the treatment of primary disease
b). conservative treatment
c). kidney replacement treatment—dialysis and/or kidney transplantation.
The above stages play different roles in the Chronic Kidney Disease treatment. The treatment in the first stage should try to preserve the renal function and health. The treatment in the second stage is to save the remaining renal function, delaying the arrival of renal failure. The proper combination of the last two stages can give patients the second life, i.e. patients can live normal life or nearly normal life.
The most scientific method to treat renal failure is blocking the renal fibrosis. Under the strong effect of Chinese medicine, the necrotic tissue in lesions is split, degraded and expelled out of body. The Micro-Chinese Medicine can restore the damaged intrinsic cells so that the renal function recovers.
