High blood pressure is a typical
symptom of Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD).
With the growing of the cysts, cysts squeeze the normal tissues, which lead to
the insufficiency of blood and oxygen in the kidney. In this case, renin
increases, which leads to the increased density of hypertensinase. Then, blood
vessels shrink, which leads to high blood pressure. In turn, high blood pressure
will also worsen the damage of the kidney. In other words, kidney disease and
high blood pressure interact each other, which will cause vicious circle if not
controlled well.
Is High Blood Pressure a Sign of PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease)
If the high blood pressure can not be controlled well, it will make the heart
extend, and lead to heart failure. For some patients, their condition develops
