The Reasons Causing Proteinuria and Hematuresis of Chronic Kidney Disease(CKD)

With the frequent changes of diet and living habits, more and more diseases have been attacking human being. Following cancers and heart disease, Chronic Kidney Diseasebecomes another rival against human being with vital threat at any time. On the basis of incomplete statistics, in the world widely there is one patient with Chronic Kidney Disease(CKD) out of ten people. And most of patients suffer from Proteinuria and Hematuresis.
So what causes Proteinuria and Hematuresis? Why patients with Chronic Kidney Disease(CKD) bear these symptoms?
As we know, each kidney contains about 1.2million nephrons. These functions like toxicant elimination, regulatory function, secreting and excretion, are all performed by these nephrons. So if these nephrons are damaged, that means the damage of kidneys.
One nephron is made up of one renal corpuscle and one kidney tubule. One renal corpuscle is constituted by one glomerulus and one renal capsule. The symptoms like Proteinuria and Hematuresis are caused by the damage of glomerulus. The barrier functions has two types, namely, electric charge barrier and mechanical barrier. Electric barrierrefers that due to negative charge of some factors like sialoglycoprotein secreted by end othelial cell and epithelial cell of glomerulus, according to the principle of like charges repelling and opposite charges attracting, in normal condition, the cells of glomerulus block macromolecule substances with negative charge like protein, andpromote absorption of micromelecule materials with positive charge. Owing to some factors such as inflammation virus, the damage of endothelial cell and epithelial cell, in addition to disorder of electric charge, make macromolecule substances leak out of micro-blood vessel, causing Proteinuria(Proteinuria and Kidney Disease) and Hematuresis.
Besides the electric barrier, there is mechanical barrier. The separation distance between two cells of endothelial cell, interstitial cell, and epithelial cell is diminishing gradually. That of endothelial cells is 70-100nm, and that of epithelial cells is 20-50nm. After the glomerulus cells are damaged and the mechanical barrier is broken, macromolecule substances like protein, red blood cells leak into the original urine, giving rise to Hematuresis and Proteinuria.
We can conclude from the above that the production of Proteinuria and Hematuresis is due to the damage of renal intrinsic cells. Long-term undesirable diet and living habits induce the lesion of renal cells. As a result, the reasonable diet and regular living habits are inevitable conditions to avoid Chronic Kidney Disease.
