In recent years, there are more and more women who are suffering from kidney
disease, which is paid more attention to by people. The number of women who are
diagnosed with kidney disease is not less than the one of men with the high pace
in modern times. As we know, in clinic, many symptoms of kidney disease are
latent, so it is necessary to have some knowledge about symptoms of kidney
disease in women.
Among all the symptoms of women kidney disease, the most obvious one is pain
in the back, which includes renal colic in one side or both sides. The abnormal
symptoms caused by pathological damage are as follows:
The first Immunotherapy of kidney disease in women is abnormal amount of
urine. Because kidney function declines, patients will have less urine, which is
less than 400 ml within 24 hours or do not have urine at all. However, the
normal amount of urine is 1500 to 2000 ml within 24 hours. If women kidney
disease patients apply diuretic, diuresis may appear. In addition, kidney
insufficiency can also lead to increased urine at night, the retention of urine,
and so on. Renal glomeruli are damaged, which leads to gross hematuria(Hematuria and Kidney Disease),
microscopic hematuria, pyuria, proteinuria(Proteinuria and Kidney Disease), and so on. Proteinuria means that
protein which is discharged in urine within 24 hours is more than 3.5 g. It is
an important symptom of kidney disease in women.
The second symptom of kidney disease in women is renal edema. Edema is caused
by increased volume of interstitial fluid, the result of which is retention of
water. The pathological damage leads to the decrease of GFR( glomerular
filtration rate), the acatharsia of water and sodium. Therefore, renal edema
appears.
The third symptom of kidney disease in women is expanded kidney in size. This
symptom is usually seen in patients with kidney cysts such as PKD(polycystic
kidney disease). As a genetic kidney disease, there are numerous cysts both in
side of the kidney and outside of the kidney. Cysts outside of the kidney grow
bigger and bigger day by day, which leads to the increased size of kidney. When
patients touch the area, they can even feel the expanded kidney.
The fourth symptom for kidney disease in women is pain in kidney, which can
also appears as colic. Pain usually is dull pain which is continuous and takes
place in one side or both sides.
The last symptom for kidney disease in women is high blood pressure. Some
women patients can have high blood pressure, which is due to damaged renal
vessels or renal parenchyma.
