A lot of patients who have early stage Chronic Kidney Disease usually have no
obvious symptoms, so it is very important to do the tests or examines every year
for everyone to prevent Chronic Kidney Disease. If you have Diabetes or high
blood pressure, you should do the tests twice a year. If you have had symptoms
of Chronic Kidney Disease, you should do a comprehensive inspection and take
effective measures as soon as possible in order to control the development of
Chronic Kidney Disease.
There are many methods in diagnosing Chronic Kidney Disease.
1. Urine test. It is the easiest method to check up the disease in urinary Immunotherapy. The test includes examines of urine protein, glucose,
erythrocyte and leukocyte.
2. Urine erythrocyte form test. If urine poikilocyte is more than 80% of all,
it may be the damage of glomerulus.
3. Serum creatinine concentration test. The normal value of serum creatinine
concentration is 43—133 umol/l. If your serum creatinine is higher(High Creatinine Levels), you should
pay attention to it.
4. Creatine clearance rate test. The normal value for adults is 80—120ml/min,
and for the new-born babies is 40—65ml/min. If your creatine clearance rate is
lower than 80% of the normal value, it means that your glomerular filtration
rate decresed.
5. 24h urine protein ration test. The normal value is less than 0.2g/24h. If
glomerulus or kidney tubules are damaged, it would increase. This test is more
accurate than normal protein test.
7. Urine osmotic pressure test. The decrease of osmotic pressure means that
concentrating ability of kidney tubules has slowed down.
8. Type-B supersonic inspection. Sizes of kidneys, forms of kidneys, tumours,
cysts, hydronephrosis, congenital malformation and some others can shown in this
test.
There are also some other methods in diagnosing Chronic Kidney Disease like
intraveneous pyelography, kidney CT and MRI and so on. If you have got Chronic
Kidney Disease, you must be diagnosed carefully and then take effective
treatment.
