On April 10th, 2008, staff of international department of Shijiazhuang Kidney
Disease Hospital, together with several medical workers, went to Beijing Airport
to meet the patient from faraway Saudi Arabia.
The patient names Mohammed Ali, male, 49 years old. Six years ago he had an
operation of kidney transplantation. But recently his kidneys appeared
pathologic changes again, and for this time Mohammed Ali decided to come to
China to receive Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment.
Since the transplantation of kidney six years ago, Mohammed Ali had kept on
taking anti-rejection drugs and hypotensors in order to maintain an average
physical condition. However, on June 13th, 2007, Mohammed Ali had a sudden
abdominal pain, together with fatigue and dizziness. Accompanied by his family,
he went to the local hospital for a check-up. Indexes showed that damages had
occurred to his transplanted kidney! All the family members were shocked by this
news.
The local hospitals could not do anything about this situation. Another renal
transplantation was neither practical nor effecting a permanent cure. Mohammed
Ali had kept taking western medicine for the last many years, but none of them
prevented the aggravation of the kidneys.
In September 2008, he searched for information about traditional Chinese
medicine therapies through internet. Then he glanced over the English website of
Shijiazhuang Kidney Disease Hospital, and got in touch with director of
international department of the hospital by email. Staff of international
department gave detailed explanation on misgivings and misunderstandings that
Mohammed Ali had long raised. They also made a professional introduction to
Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy, both in term of the treatment principals and
how to apply this therapy in his case. What’s more, they gave him the number of
another Saudi Arabian patient (of course with the permission of that person),
who was once treated in our hospital. By this, Mohammed Ali was entitled a
chance to communicate with his home fellow patient, and got more detailed
information about the curative effects of Micro-chinese medicine
osmotherapy.
On April 10th, 2008, Mohammed Ali got the visa and came to China.
During his hospitalization here, and based on fully understanding of his
illness conditions and drug usage, experts did analysis and group consultation,
and got the diagnosis of Hypertensive Nephropathy and Renal Interstitial
Fibrosis. The patient’s creatinine level was near normal, but the leakage of
protein reflected the dysfunction of Glomerular filtration Immunotherapy. A
timely blocking of the fibrosis progress and controlling of hypertension are
necessary. During the therapy session, Mohammed Ali cooperated with treatment
actively, and quickly made friends with doctors and nurses.
Furthermore, our International Department staff members gave special care to
Mohammed Ali. As s Saudi Arabian, believing in Muslim and preferring beef and
mutton, he was not used to Chinese food. However, given to his illness
condition, it is unsuitable for him to have beef or mutton at that moment,
because these foods are of high protein. Accompanied by staff of international
department, he enjoyed the ‘adventure’ to supermalls and local markets to hunt
for his desirable and suitable foods.
On April 25th, 2008, Mohammed Ali had been receiving Micro-Chinese medicine
osmotherapy in Shijiazhuang Kidney Disease Hospital for 15 days. After half a
month of treatment, he got significant improvement, both physically and
mentally. Floccules occurred in the urine, which indicated the gradually
degrading of extracellular matrix. Blood pressure gradually becomes normal, as
well as the blood creatinine level.
Several days latter, he left the hospital and went back to his own country,
together with some Chinese medicines, which he could use at home by himself. And
according to after-treating phone call, he had been enjoying an satisfying
recovery.
