The clinical manifestations of Uremia are complicated, which can mention any
organs and tissues of the whole body.
1. Symptoms in gastrointestinal tract
The symptoms in gastrointestinal tract are the earliest and the most common
ones. At the beginning, there are asitia, uncomfortable feeling in belly and so
on. And then some symptoms like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, uric smell in mouth,
ulcer of mouth mucosa and so on.
2. Symptoms in nerve
Drooping spirit, fatigue, dizziness, headache, poor remembrance, insomnia and
so on. Some patients also suffer from limb numbness, burning pain in hands and
feet, skin itch and so on. In the late stage, some severe symptoms appear like
drowsiness, dysphoria, delirious speech, muscle twitch, v, coma convulsions, and
so on.
3. Symptoms in hemopoietic
Anemia is unavoidable symptom of patients with Uremia. Besides that, there
are ecchymosis, epistaxis, bleeding gums, melena and so on.
4. Symptoms in respiratory
Deep and long breath during acid poisoning.
5. Manifestations of skin.Severe Fatigue With Stage 4 Kidney Failure
Skin tarnishes, and is dry and desquamative. In severe condition, Uremic
Frost may appear, and it can stimulate dermitis caused by Uremia. Patients feel
very itching.
6. Metabolic acid poisoning.Does Kidney Bacteria Cause Skin Itching Disease
Patients with Uremia suffer from various severity of metabolic acid
poisoning. They will bear fatigue, disesthesia, deep and long breath and even in
comatose state.
7. Dehydration or edema Can Pulmonary Edema Cause Low Grade Fever in ESRD
One side, due to breakdown of renal functions, patients have to bear these
symptoms like diuresis, enuresis nocturna, asitia, nausea, vomiting, and
diarrhea. These all can cause dehydration. The other side, because of poor
ability of water expelling, if patients take in much water, patients will suffer
from edema.
8. Electrolyte disorder
Low sodium Is There a Medicine for End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD)
One side, patients with poor ability of regulating sodium are easy to stand
hyponatremia. The common manifestations include fatigue, asitia, apathetic
facial expressions, in addition to severe ones like nausea, vomiting, lower
blood pressure. The other side, if patients take in too much sodium, retention
of sodium and water will appear and causes edema, hypertension, and even heart
failure.Stem Cell Therapy Treats Kidney Disease
Hypocalcemia and hyperphosphatemia
Due to poor renal functions , patients can't remove phosphoruria, making
phosphorus of blood increase. The combination of phosphorus and sodium prevents
the absorption of calcium, leading to hypocalcemia. Hyperphospheremia and
hypocalcemia induce hyperparathyroidism arousing obstacles of bone
calcification. In that condition, patients suffer from bone diseases caused by
Uremia, such as fibrillated ostitis, osteomalacosis, osteoporosis, bone
sclerosis and so on.
Hypokalemia or hyperkalemia
Patients, who bear asitia, diahrrea and take lots of diuretic, may suffer
from severe hypokalemia. The manifestations include: general fatigue, softy,
numbness, arrhythmia, and even drowsiness or coma.
When patients take too much potassium-sparing diuretics and input more stored
blood, who bear infection, acid poisoning, as well as with anuria in the end
stage, they will suffer from serious hyperkalemia. The manifestations are:
arrhythmia of different degree, heart arrest and so on.
Hypermagnesemia
Hypermagnesemia is rarely seen. But when patients take magnesia agent or
suffer from serious infection or acid poisoning, magnesium of blood may increase
with the following manifestations: accidi, drowsiness, muscle inability, nausea,
vomiting, disoder of defecation, and arrhythmia, and so on.
